The unusual weather event caused chaos in Folkestone A freak weather event left part of Folkestone heavily waterlogged. The area was hit by a heavy downpours in the morning (November 8) which resulted the flooding of Russell Road, Dover Road and Marine Parade. The Environment Agency issued a flood alert as river levels in the Pent Stream rose to heights that cause flooding.
