With heavy rain expected for the weekend, Conservation Sudbury has raised the flood warning risk for the city. As a result, the city is under a flood outlook warning until 10 a.m. April 2. A flood outlook is the early notice of the potential for flooding based on weather forecasts calling for heavy rain, snowmelt, high wind or other conditions that could lead to high runoff, cause ice jams, lakeshore flooding or erosion. It is one of five watershed statements Conservation Sudbury issues; only flood watch and flood warning are more serious.
